There are no magic sprays that kill bed bugs very well. Most commercial insecticides will kill bed bugs if applied carefully and directly to the insects and their hiding places. An exception is “Bug bombs”, or aerosol foggers. Foggers are mostly ineffective in controlling bed bugs.
Is it safe to sleep in a room with bug spray?
As we have established, the odor is the best indicator of how safe a room is after a Raid application. So if you can’t smell the insecticide, it should be safe to sleep in the room — provided that you have aired it out properly. But be advised, applying insecticide in sleeping areas may not be that simple.
How long should you stay out of a room after spraying Raid?

Will bleach kill bed bug eggs?
Bleach contains hypochlorite, an ingredient that kills bed bugs. Bleach is a sodium hypochlorite solution, which has a pH of 11 and breaks down proteins to render them defective. If the bleach makes direct contact with the bed bugs and their eggs, their bodies will absorb the acid, killing them.
